Aquae Jewels (“Aquae Jewels“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit aquae-jewels.com or interact with us through our advertising, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
This policy is intended to comply with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (UAE PDPL), the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Who we are
Aquae Jewels is a fine jewelry brand operating an e-commerce store and a bespoke jewelry atelier, registered as Tannir Gold and Jewelry Trading LLC with registered business address at Dalmook 3, Al Dhaghaya , Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

We act as the data controller for personal information collected through our website, our paid advertising, our bespoke commission process, and our marketing communications.
2. What information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways: information you give us directly, information we collect automatically when you interact with our website or ads, and information we receive from third parties.
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Account and order information when you create an account or place an order: name, email address, phone number (with country code), billing and shipping address, and information about the order itself.
- Payment information when you make a purchase. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure form and are not stored on our servers. See section 4 for details.
- Bespoke commission information when you submit the Signature Sketch form on our /bespoke-jewelry/ page: name, email, phone, optional budget range, optional timeline, your description of the piece you’d like commissioned, and any photographs or sketches you upload of your idea or of gemstones you want to use.
- Email marketing preferences when you sign up for our newsletter or any marketing list: email address and any preferences you indicate.
- Customer support information when you contact us by email, WhatsApp, phone, or any contact form: whatever you choose to share with us in that conversation.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit our website or interact with our advertising, we and our service providers automatically collect:
- Technical and device information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language settings, and timezone.
- Browsing information: pages you view, time spent on each page, links you click, referrer URL (the page you came from), search terms used on our site, and the order in which you navigate the site.
- Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies: small data files placed on your device by us and by our advertising and analytics partners. See section 6 for the full list of cookies and trackers we use and how to control them.
- Advertising interaction data: when you click an Aquae Jewels advertisement on Meta (Facebook or Instagram), Google, or any other paid channel, we and the advertising platform record that interaction and may associate it with your browsing session on our website.
2.3 Information we receive from third parties
- Lead form information from Meta: if you submit one of our Meta Instant Lead Forms (in-app lead forms shown inside Facebook or Instagram), Meta provides us with the contact information you submit (typically name, email, phone, and your answers to any qualifying questions we include in the form) along with information about which ad you clicked.
- Analytics and attribution information: our service providers (Google Analytics, Meta, ClickMagick, Supermetrics) share with us aggregated and individual-level interaction data tied to your visits.
- Social media interactions: if you interact with our Aquae Jewels accounts on Instagram or Facebook (likes, comments, direct messages, story replies), the platform may share that interaction information with us.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:

4. Who we share your information with
We share your personal information only with the categories of recipients below, and only as needed to operate our business.
4.1 Service providers
- Payment processor: Stripe, Paypal, MamoPay, Tabby processes your card payments. Payment card data is sent directly to the processor’s secure infrastructure and we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Shipping and logistics providers: shipping carriers (DHL, FedEx, Aramex, local carriers) receive your shipping address and contact information to deliver your order.
- Hosting and website infrastructure: our website is hosted on standard managed-hosting infrastructure; technical information about your visit is processed by these providers as part of normal site operation.
- Email service provider (Klaviyo): we use Klaviyo to send marketing and transactional emails. Klaviyo receives your name, email address, and information about your interactions with us (including marketing email opens and clicks).
- CRM (Zoho): we use Zoho CRM to manage customer and lead information, including bespoke commission inquiries. Information you submit through forms on our site or through our Meta Lead Ads is stored in Zoho.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4): we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 receives pseudonymous identifiers, page-view data, and event data.
- Advertising and attribution providers (Meta / Facebook, Google Ads, ClickMagick, Supermetrics): we share interaction data with these platforms so we can advertise effectively, attribute sales to the right channel, and measure the performance of our campaigns. See section 6 for details on the cookies and pixels involved.
4.2 Categories we will not share with
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing. We do not share your personal information with anyone except the categories listed above, or as required by law.
4.3 Disclosures required by law
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect our legal rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. International data transfers
Aquae Jewels is established in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers (including Meta, Google, Klaviyo, and Zoho) are established in the United States, the European Union, or other countries outside the UAE and the EEA. Where we transfer personal information outside the UAE or the EEA, we use legal safeguards required by the receiving country’s data protection law — for example, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA — and we contractually require our service providers to handle your data with at least the same level of protection.
6. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
When you visit our website, we and our advertising and analytics partners place cookies and similar technologies on your device. The main categories are:
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for the site to function (shopping cart, login session, security). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _gid, etc.) help us understand how visitors use the site.
- Advertising and attribution cookies: Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, fr), Google Ads conversion tags, and ClickMagick attribution cookies allow us to measure ad performance and serve relevant advertising to you on Meta and Google.
- Marketing automation cookies: Klaviyo cookies (__kla_id) link your browsing to your subscriber profile for personalization.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse third-party cookies, delete cookies, or be notified when cookies are set. You can also opt out of Meta and Google advertising cookies through those platforms’ own ad preference settings. Note that disabling cookies will not affect your ability to use the basic functionality of our site, but some features (like personalized product recommendations or remembering items in your cart between visits) may not work as expected.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction that requires it, we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above.
- Order and payment information: kept for 7 years after the order is completed, to comply with UAE accounting and tax retention requirements.
- Account information: kept for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your account data within 90 days, except where we are required to keep it longer for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Bespoke commission inquiries: kept for 3 years after the inquiry, to allow us to reconnect with you if you return to discuss the project further. Photographs and sketches you upload are deleted at the same time, or earlier on request.
- Marketing email subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honor your unsubscribe request across systems.
- Website analytics data: most identifiers expire within 26 months under standard GA4 retention settings.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have some or all of the following rights:
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Erasure (right to be forgotten): ask us to delete your personal information. We will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.
- Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your personal information in certain circumstances.
- Portability: ask us to provide a copy of certain personal information in a structured, commonly-used, machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to our use of your personal information for direct marketing (which we will always honor immediately), or for other purposes based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent: where we rely on your consent (for example, for marketing emails or non-essential cookies), you can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in the UAE, the UAE Data Office; in the EEA, your national data protection authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.

9. Children
Our website and our products are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at contact@aquae-jewels.com and we will delete it.
10. Security
We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on our internal systems, vendor due diligence on our service providers, and incident response procedures. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of the information you submit to us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our technology, or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect when changes take effect. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your email address) or by a prominent notice on our website.
