Pavé setting covers the curve of the dome with small stones, so light is caught from every angle instead of from a single face. It is offered in yellow, rose and white gold, and also in black rhodium — the only piece in the collection with that finish, which reads as a dark dome against the diamonds rather than a bright one.

Alternating colour with white rather than grouping them means the pink is read against diamond at every point of the band. At 3.25 ct of pink stone with 0.72 ct of diamond, this carries nearly four carats on 5.0 g of gold. Set the full circumference, so the ring never needs turning.

Four and a half carats of coloured stone on only 3.2 g of gold — among the highest stone-to-metal ratios of any ring in the range. Bezel settings enclose each stone in its own rim, which is what allows so much colour to sit round a band this slender without claws catching. The Romeo Rhodium Ring sets an emerald-cut centre stone among vibrant green gemstones with black rhodium accents, on approx. 6.2 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, or with a black rhodium finish, with a certificate of authenticity.

The only piece in the range offered with black rhodium as well as the three golds — rhodium is plated over the gold to darken it, which throws the green stones forward instead of letting warm gold compete with them. At 1.74 ct the centre is by far the largest of the three Romeo rings.

The band carries 1.80 ct of coloured stone around a 0.50 ct centre, so the surround is more than three times the weight of the stone it frames — which is what makes the centre read far larger than half a carat. A bezel encloses that centre in a rim of gold rather than holding it in claws. The Romeo Essential is the version framed in baguette and pavé diamonds instead, at 5.4 g.

The calligraphy is worked into the gold rather than set with stone, so the letterforms stay legible — at 0.26 ct the diamonds only accent them. On 7.2 g of gold the band has the surface a broad script needs.

The Jollie Harmony Ring is a sculptural floating band in polished gold set with coloured precious stones and diamonds, on approx. 9.2 g of solid 18K gold (750 hallmark), in yellow, rose or white gold, with a certificate of authenticity.

Over five carats of stone in total — 4.60 ct of coloured stone with 0.90 ct of diamond — on 9.2 g of gold, which puts it among the heaviest and most heavily set rings in the range at once. The smooth sculptural silhouette is what keeps that much material from reading as bulk.
